Grandad, what were the 80s like?

The 80s? A magical time of melodic pop and glass table tops, big hair and fearless corporations.

Before the age of video games really took off men used to put on a pair of tight shorts and try and castrate themselves with their underwear.

Some men who played with frisbees liked to wear denim hot pants with their socks pulled right up to show that they were serious about their sport and that throwing a frisbee around was really important and not just something you did to kill time at the beach.

We had a special service to get rid of gits we didn’t like.

Our hotties in ads were well dressed.

It was classy to have fake gold taps and plastic marble walls in your bathroom.

 

And any old appalling crap could get into the top ten.
