I started writing a blog called Man of Errors in November of 2007 on Blogspot. I can’t remember why. I remember that my first choices for my blog’s name were already taken but I can’t remember what my first choices were, or how exactly I ended up with Man of Errors, but I ended up with it. The gist of why I liked Man of Errors as a title is something to do with this quote which I have only just discovered:
A man’s errors are his portals of discovery
Basically I screw things up a lot. I’m counting on it making me wise by the time I die (probably sticking a fork into a toaster one morning), but this seems increasingly unlikely.
As a blogger my major flaw is that I don’t have a fixed theme. Actually I only think this is a flaw if you want to attract a large audience, otherwise it is just a fact about me. I get obsessed by things, and pursue them to a ridiculous level of detail, and then I move on. It’s a bit shit really, but there you are.

P.S. – I’m a touch older than these photos suggest, but the first one makes me look intelligent, and the second one reminds me of my daughters.
P.P.S. – My wife is routinely irritated by how she comes across (or doesn’t) in this blog. You should know that I love her very much.
